Hello,
I have the following problem:
I have a new computer and had to reinstall one or the other since everything was fresh. I am using Dragon 15.3 on Windows 10.
This morning I had to attend a Zoom conference for the first time since I got the new computer. I installed the software for this.
The problem is that as soon as I connect to the computer audio in Zoom, my microphone in Dragon no longer provides a signal, ie. H. is mute. Oddly enough, the old PC didn't have this problem.
Does anyone of you know this phenomenon and has a solution?
Best regards
Christian |

Quick update: for now, my preliminary solution is to not use the Zoom client software, but to join the meeting in the browser.
However, the issue still bugs me, especially as it worked on my old PC... |

Good morning! Not really sure if this makes any difference, but you could try removing the check mark(s) for the exclusive mode of your microphone:

Thank you for hint, Mav! Actually, I already have this set up on my new computer. However, this is actually a difference to my old PC: the checkboxes were set there. Maybe I should try it and activate the checkboxes again on the new computer. Meanwhile, I read in another thread that Microsoft Teams causes similar problems and always steals Dragon's microphone input. Maybe there is a connection there? Is there a solution for the Teams problem in the meantime? Unfortunately, in my case it is not enough to be able to continue working after the meeting has ended, I also need it during the meeting because I have to work completely hands-free. For now I'm using Zoom in my browser. I've always done it that way with Teams. Actually, I prefer to do everything in the browser anyway, so that you don't have to install too much unnecessary software on the computer. |
