I'm trying to use voice attack, as a speech method of controlling keys on gaming. When I try to run the "train your computer to understand you better" I get the following error message;

But the language is already set correctly;



Can anybody throw any light on this problem please?

Been using computers since 1985 paralysed from the neck down. I have 64-bit Windows 10 professional, DPI 15.3, I7-7500U CPU 2.7/2.9GHz, 16 GB RAM.

If you've made this observation with the same windows open as in the screenshot(which is a PDF for some reason), it's because you have the "Edit a Profile"(and "Edit a Command") window open.
As in any windows application, if there is a child window open, the main window cannot be interacted with. That's not VoiceAttack specific.


As an aside, consider using the beta instead; It has a lot of new features and bugfixes, and the UI has changed slightly(you create new profiles using a button now, not the dropdown).
