Finally bit bullet and  up'd to Win 11. Mic worked in win 10 ... does not work at all in 11.

Win 11 prob? probably. Should I think about a new mic?

As much as we would like to sell you our new Shokz OpenComm UC, you shouldn't need to replace your existing Bluetooth Sennheiser Headset. Have you tried the following:

 

1. Make sure your microphone is paired to the dongle. If you're not certain, re-pair it. We had to do this when we upgraded our Windows 10 computer to Windows 11

2. Type “sound systems” into this Windows Search field to see if your microphone is recognized

3. If neither #1 or #2 produce the desired results, Lookup “How to Enable Disabled Microphones” under the Quick Tips button at the top of this page

Thank you, Lunis, for the suggestions - unfortunately they didn't solve the problem.
After many, many, many different tries I finally got the microphone to work - - however DNS sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't. [I saw - in I forum searches - that Nuance was in the process of upgrading their programs for Windows 11 - - anything happening?]

Is Bluetooth Pairing necessary for all the microphones in your store? After all the trouble I've had with Bluetooth/Windows 11 I am thinking seriously about the Addasound microphone.

I will stop now because I don't trust Dragon or my hardware - - and I don't want to lose everything I've dictated.

Work on DPI 15.61 has ended. Full Windows 11 support will begin with Dragon 16. We prefer to only offer Bluetooth microphones which come pre-paired to their accompanying dongle. However, your Sennheiser MB Pro2 is 1 of those microphones. You might have a problem with your existing microphone which includes a 2 year warranty

Having said that, the Addasound KB SR2832 wired HD Stereo USB headset should hold its USB connection. Note that our favorite microphone is the new Shokz OpenComm UC Bone Conduction Bluetooth headset
