mdl Top-Tier Member Posts: 906 Joined: 04/18/2009	I was unaware of this before purchasing these, but apparently Windows has a bug where it uses excessively large volume for USB headsets like these. Even turning down the system maximum volume to 1 is still painfully loud in many cases. Google seems to suggest trying Equalizer APO to fix this problem. Is that what other people are doing?

ax Top-Tier Member Posts: 421 Joined: 03/22/2012	Can confirm it's indeed been a longstanding problem, with Windows 10 at least. The MB Pro line I find is particularly insensitive to the default Windows output volume adjustment "globally". A workaround from some Windows forum that I found helpful is to use the "per app" volume scale adjustment built-into Windows 10:
