Hi,

I have just bought a new headset and I am encountering a new problem with it: Once I switch on Dragon, I hear a steady noise. This noise only arises with Dragon, it is absent when speaking on the phone.

I am using Dragon Professional 15.61 on Windows 10.

Thanks!

Valentin

We discontinued carrying the Plantronics line of microphones because the microphone elements are too small and the noise filtering doesn't quite meet our standards. If you recently purchased this microphone, you might consider getting your money back. The Sennheiser MB Pro2 UC/ML Bluetooth headset includes a microphone element that is 5 times larger and more noise filtering.

In the meantime, try opening DragonPad, dictating a few words and then say play that back to listen for possible interference. It is unlikely that Dragon is causing this noise; even though it doesn't show up elsewhere.
