Thanks, Lunis for the Philips SpeechAir PSP 2100 review. Your assessment is spot on with my experience using this recorder daily.  The only thing I would recommend when buying this recorder is to invest in the additional protective carrying case, which only costs about $40, but it will ensure protection from drops that may occur.

Additionally, under the specifications for the Philips PSP 2200, which has the software built in Philips recommends using 4GB RAM.  Under the Philips PSP 2100, I have tried to see if the 2GB RAM can be increased to 4GB; however, I do not see how that can be done and what, if any real difference that would make. Are you able to advise whether the 2GB can be increased and to what advantage?
