Hello My apologies if this is a basic question that has been covered many times , this is my first visit to this forum.
I have a user who would like to work from both a desktop PC and also a laptop when mobile working. They have one Dragon 15 license (serial number) and we would like to know if this one license key would enable the activation of Dragon to use on both devices. It seems a little vague on Nuance's site and states it can be installed on other devices as back up, and that the license is per user rather than per device. So I am hoping someone could clear this up for me please? Thank you in advance.

Hi,
After switching from one PC (with dragon) to the next (PC2), as well as using a first laptop, activating on a new laptop was no longer possible. However, a rather quick phone call to customer service of dragon and a subsequent email, gave a quick response that I could activate on the new laptop. In the phone call, thay said I could activate on 3 PC devices with one user licence. My response here is to indicate that they apparently will let you use a subsequent PC upon request. I must say that I had registered all versions of Dragon since probably version 7 or 8 on this account, which probably helped relative to not having any registration in any account. VLA. aside from this user licence, it is also possible to obtain a VLA license that can be installed on unlimited PC's for use with one user. |

Dragon 11 - 15 include 4 activations. The Dragon Professional 16 Upgrade (requires Dragon 15) only includes 2 activations but if you purchase the Dragon Professional 16 VLA Upgrade you received unlimited activations ------------------------- Change "No" to "Know" w/KnowBrainer 2022 |
