I have the 15.6 version and was wondering if the upgrade is worth it. |

I don't know if you've seen Lunis's review of Dragon 16 here. He says it has fixed a LOT of bugs, and is more compatible with new software like Windows 11 and Office 2021. https://www.knowbrainer.com/downloads/Dragon_16_Review.pdf
Edgar posted his first impressions here. He had to reboot his computer before the application-specific commands worked. But there were still problems dictating "new line" and "new paragraph" in Visual Studio Code, and I can't tell if that got resolved in the end. https://www.knowbrainer.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=4&threadid=37123
If you use Word, it sounds like there is a workaround for the jumping cursor problem in Dragon 16. https://www.knowbrainer.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=4&threadid=37187
From various threads on the forum, it seems the debugger catches more problems in Dragon 16, but typing in web browsers remains problematic.
I am also planning to upgrade soon, so I would love to hear if anyone has noticed any other changes. |

I didn't know about his review. Thanks for linking it. If v16 mostly has some bug fixes, then it's not really much of a major improvement for me. I was wondering if it's more accurate in speech recognition. |

The speech engine is essentially unchanged, so 16 isn't really any more accurate than 15.61. But if you're using Windows 11, you'll need 16 at some point. |

Thanks. I'll stick to 15.6 for now since I don't plan on using Win11 anytime soon. |
