Has anybody encountered custom command import being disabled in Dragon 15? New commands can be created just fine but bulk import seems to be disabled, the option is grey in the command browser. Is this an option set when installing, and if so how would it be modified by IT? Thanks for any help? |

I thought there might be an option to disable command import in nsadmin.exe or nsadminw.exe, but I'm not finding it!
Does the problem persist after shutting down Dragon, rebooting your computer, and restarting Dragon? |

Look under Tools, Administrative Settings. In Dragon 17 VLA, I see this: |

You are definitely supposed to be able to do this in v15. If you don't find a better solution, consider going old school by opening the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Nuance\NS15\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\current\ folder and copying the MyCmds.dat file. You can then paste it into a new user profile where you should be able to import and export again. You can even paste this file into the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Nuance\NS16\Users\[YOUR USERNAME]\current\ folder in v16 because Nuance didn't make any changes ------------------------- Change "No" to "Know" w/KnowBrainer 2022 |

Thank you, I think this will work. I can even copy the client's profile to my machine and import commands and then send them back the file so it will merge them together. I'm wondering if it could be a permissions issue with that folder but then I would expect it to have issues creating new commands which it doesn't seem to.
I swear dragon 15 is getting buggier by the day... |
