I'm using Nuance Dragon naturally speaking 13. When it opens, it defaults to the "now listening for" dictation and commands mode. This causes it to confuse a string of words for a command. There is the pulldown menu to change that mode to dictation only. I've sent Nuance several messages asking what I need to change to get it to open in that mode. They never responded. Does anyone know the answer? ------------------------- If it weren't for Velcro, I'd lose my mind... |

You can only start Dragon in Normal Mode (dictation AND commands) but you can use the voice command "Start dictation mode".
Hope that helps, Stephan ------------------------- |

This may be a repeat of an earlier reply. If so, sorry. ------------------------- If it weren't for Velcro, I'd lose my mind... |

You may discover Dragon better differentiates words from commands if you dictate in slightly longer phrases. Even one extra word per phrase could make a giant difference.
