I'm using Nuance Dragon naturally speaking 13. When it opens, it defaults to the "now listening for" dictation and commands mode. This causes it to confuse a string of words for a command. There is the pulldown menu to change that mode to dictation only. I've sent Nuance several messages asking what I need to change to get it to open in that mode. They never responded. Does anyone know the answer?

You can only start Dragon in Normal Mode (dictation AND commands) but you can use the voice command "Start dictation mode".

Hope that helps, Stephan

This may be a repeat of an earlier reply. If so, sorry.
Thank you for the quick reply and this tip. It will work great for me.

You may discover Dragon better differentiates words from commands if you dictate in slightly longer phrases. Even one extra word per phrase could make a giant difference.
