I have a bit of an odd question. So I use dragon 11.0 home (I got it as a birthday gift some while ago) on windows 10. The other day I was running several tasks on my computer, and the RAM/CPU were near their limits. To reduce the load, I tried to close dragon, but it froze up. Trying to get it to respond, I right clicked on the tray icon and managed to bring up the menu. However, I then noticed some options on the dropdowns I had never seen before. In the mode selection menu, I saw "hidden mode", in the vocabulary menu, I saw "import vocabulary" (or something very similar), and in the tools menu, I saw an option to transcribe from an audio file. I clicked that option and opened a dialog window that asked for a file path to an audio file. After doing some research, I've concluded that these are Dragon Pro features, and that while they are normally depreciated, they are still technically installed. What I want to know is how to access them regularly, without having to re-create the fluke that originally showed them. (Yes, I technically know that this is piracy, but this particular version is so old that I doubt anyone at Nuance would care.) Unfortunately I did not think to taken screenshots of this. |

Re Point 1: The menus are the same in both floating window mode and minimized to tray mode. That's a nonissue, it just happened to be in that display mode when this glitch occured. Re Points 2 and 3: The fact I was able to actually open the audio file transcribe dialog window suggests that these features are actually included in DNS Home Version 11, and just are not readily accessable. Re Point 4: Unfortunatly, I do not have the money to purchase an updated and upgraded version of Dragon where delux features like transcribing audio files are readily accessable from the menu, which is why I'm making this post in the first place. |

Well, if you can "recreate the fluke", go ahead. However, you can't really expect a bunch of Dragon resellers on a public forum to explain software hacks that release deluxe features in legacy software.
