In our opinion, DMPE 4.3.1 heavily tips the scale over DMO. Keep in mind that Nuance charges $1600 the 1st year and $1200 each following year for the DMO lease. In order to get DMO to work efficiently, they had to strip out 75% of it's functionality; including support for third-party utilities such as KnowBrainer 2022.

TBF Nuance is phasing out DMPE over the next year and will be focusing on DMO exclusively - which, among other things, may mean that there will be no Windows 11 support for DMPE.

No need to make the switch just now but sooner or later, you may be forced by the latest Windows update.

Edith says: you might as well work on something like Knowbrainer for DMO. Right now, there already are third-party products which add most of the DMPE functionality to DMO so it's doable.
