I just installed SpeechStart+ on my new laptop on which I just updated the operating system from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

After installing SpeechStart+, going through its training, and choosing my color codes, I tested the commands. All seem to be working except for, "show taskbar."

I have the SpeechStart+ icon pinned to my taskbar and when I right-click it, I do not see, "options" that would allow me to select any changes I would like to make.

Has anyone any suggestions as to what I can do next?

You will need to contact support@pcbyvoice.com (Lindsay Adam) directly. He is currently visiting Scotland. The Big Haired Lady insists that when she visited Scotland, they didn't have paved roads, indoor plumbing or electricity. I doubt customs would let her in, unlike Ireland, just because she's Scottish. She doesn't go anywhere without her nickel plated Dirty Harry 44 Magnum, which can be worn on the outside, without a license, in Tennessee. If you visit Tennessee and don't own a gun, the border guards will give you a loaner. Not to worry, the cutoff age for alcohol, marriage and carrying a loaded weapon is now 12. Y'all come back

Hi Maritza,

The blue icon that you need to right click on is not on the taskbar but in the system tray where the clock is, it may be hidden in the extension tray so you will need to click on the small upward pointing arrow (presuming you have a horizontal taskbar). I can think of no possible setting or reason why the "Show Taskbar" command would not be working presuming that the other commands are working e.g. "Show Flags". If none of the "Show …" commands are working then I can think of different reasons for that so get back to me and let me know.

For the sake of tidying up the thread and for other people looking at the same issue as Maritza.  Scaling issue was effectively down to not having the latest version of Speechstart+ installed (in fact the version installed was from 2015).  You will always be able to get the latest version from the following link:
