Several things come to mind.
While creating a new user profile is easy and may help in cases where the course is actually a corrupted profile, it is by no means the only thing you can do. On the other hand, reinstalling Dragon rarely, if ever, solve them if you that is really with the operating system. A few days ago I received a call: Dragon created temporarily dump files in the %temp% folder that will eventually cause the hard disk to completely fill up and subsequently crash. I suggested turning off the Dragon Service and see whether the issue persists, but have not yet received an answer. If you want to try the same, open the Windows Services by entering "services" into the Windows search. Look for the Dragon Service, terminate it and set it to start manually. Report back whether that helped. I don't really see how changing the remote connection from an unspecified network to Citrix would in any way affect Dragon's performance, but we have seen stranger things - what if he turns off the remote connection and saves his work locally? Will that have any side effects? I know it is not a permanent solution, but might be worth checking out. Hope that helps, Stephan ------------------------- |
