Hi Suzanne,

Glad to hear that when setting up the new windows user account you have established the issue, by hook or by crook, is working dynamically with OneDrive. Try uninstalling and reinstalling OneDrive which should sort out any caching issues or syncing issues that may be causing the problems with Dragon.

 

To uninstall go to the start menu "Settings | apps | app and features and then scroll down to Microsoft OneDrive and uninstall (don't worry you won't lose any data).

 

To reinstall the quick way without downloading go to "C:\Windows\WinSxS in file Explorer and search for "OneDriveSetup.exe" and then just run it to reinstall OneDrive. Then restart Windows.

 

You may see an error about "no associated app…" which you can ignore as the uninstall and reinstall will still be carried out. See if that helps. 

 

Otherwise I don't know what it is about OneDrive that is causing the issue so if you must use OneDrive I could only suggest creating and editing your documents locally and then just uploading and downloading the word documents to/from OneDrive after finishing the editing or creation with Dragon locally. Otherwise use a different cloud solution as Stephan suggests.
