Hi!

All the efforts so far seem to be a bit uncoordinated and just a shot in the dark without identifying the real source of the crash.

When Word crashes, you should find an "Application Error" entry in your event log (start it by typing eventvwr.msc and then look for "Windows protocols"/"Application").

The least information you can get is the DLL ("Module") Word is crashing in.

Sometimes you can even see a stack trace telling us a bit more.

I cannot guarantee that this will immediately show how to solve the problem, but at least it gives us some hard facts about the origin of the crash.

Could you please try finding one such entry and then post its details here?
