Dragon NaturallySpeaking 15 SUPERBUG

Anyone else encountered this DNS 15, professional version problem? I’m running Worked fine at first, starting in December 2020. Then I got a message that my Profile Needs Updating because it was from an earlier version of Dragon NaturallySpeaking. But there was no previous version of NaturallySpeaking installed, as 15 was installed on a new Dell PC computer. But the only viable choice was to click Upgrade Profile, which eventually came back with an error message of 1 failure. (And no access to my profile.)

Dragon tech support fixed it over the phone, which lasted a few weeks. But… The problem keeps reoccurring and I have called them 9 times. Each time they fix it remotely, but the same dreaded Profile Needs Updating message and failure loop happens again within a few weeks or days.

I UNINSTALLED the Dragon and reinstalled it, and it worked for a week before the same problem came back. It’s something to do with Dragon getting confused and not finding the profile files, but why?

I’m disabled and have been using Dragon NaturallySpeaking for more than 20 years,. This has been heartbreaking to lose my lifeline tool. Any solutions or theories about what’s going on will be much appreciated!
