It seems a few other people have reported some problems with undo in Excel but I have not found any issue that is similar to the one I am experiencing.

1. Open new Excel file

2. Perform some simple variations such as typing into a few cells

3. Issue a vocal command with DPI 15.3

At this point the undo stack is lost, there is no way to undo all previous actions not even by using the "undo that" DPI command.

Is anybody else experiencing the same problem? I am using Excel 2019, the local version.

The default number of times to undo in Microsoft Excel is 16. The number of undo levels can be changed by making a change in the Registry, although Microsoft cautions that increasing the value may impact Excel performance.

When interacting with applications via Dragon, a single voice command might perform several discrete actions, each of which may require its own undo. You may need to say "undo that" several times to reverse an action -- depending on the action, you may need to say "undo that" two or three times. Perhaps more.

If you're using KnowBrainer you can stay Undo <1to20>. If you are not using KnowBrainer, try adding following Advanced-Scripting command into Dragon. Note that you will have to additionally add the 1to20 list:

Sub Main
For i = 1 To Val(ListVar1)
SendKeys "^z"
End Sub
