I've been having some trouble with dropping or inaccurate recognition of the first word in an utterance as well. Juneau, [for example, that was supposed to be "wouldn't you know"] it's been behaving rather well since I started looking for specific examples. Now about 5%, but 40% in this post. I checked the quick tips and otherwise online and snooped around but I can't find an auto-gain control option. Dragon 15.3. I'm reminded of the need to say my dogs name before each command, to get his attention. Is there a similar option, or could one be built in Dragon? Maybe a nonprinting word?
