I have tried this within different websites including this one.  I use Internet Explorer 11 and when I used to say, "Start Scrolling Down/Up," the webpage used to scroll in the direction I chose smoothly in DNS 12 & before.  When I call this command in DNS 13, it scrolls down or up in jerky movements, not the nice smooth scrolling it used to do.

I have looked up any options that I may need to change in Internet Explorer.  I found that "smooth scrolling" is checked here.

Has anybody else found this or tried this out with DNS 13 and do you get the same response as I do with the jerky movements when calling this command now?

Is there an option that I may need to change to make the scrolling smooth again or has the command name changed?

Much preferred the smooth scrolling and if this has been missed by Nuance, they should note this and repair it in an update.

Cheers

We have confirmed your findings. Considering how jittery the scroll command is, you might consider substituting your KnowBrainer <Direction> <1-20> command. For example, if you say Down 4, KnowBrainer will nearly move the length of the page. You can also substitute the Dragon move down 4 command but it is slower.

Yes, those are other viable alternatives but the smooth scrolling that DNS used to perform before in 12 and below was one of its best features in my opinion.  Honestly, if they do not fix this in an update, it will be a bad miss in my opinion.

Nuance, if you are listening, bring back the smooth scrolling that was in DNS 12 and below to DNS 13 in an update please.

Cheers

I tried this on my computer, and when I say "start scrolling up/down" it does scroll up/down at a consistent pace.  It seems to be a little faster than one line per second.

Yes, but the point is that it no longer scrolls smoothly without intermittent stops as it does now in DNS 13.  This does not happen in DNS 12 and below.
