I know a young lawyer who is just getting his practice off the ground, and I did suggest to him the above program from you. However, he uses a Macintosh and I don't know if you're program is adaptable?

KnowBrainer 2020 requires Dragon and Dragon requires Windows so unless your friend installs Windows on his Mac, he won't have a decent speech recognition option which brings up a question: If your friend cares about his efficiency, it can only be accomplished with speech recognition and considering that Microsoft now owns Nuance (Dragon), we recommend your friend switch to a Windows PC and forget about Macs. While we agree that Macs are easy to learn and even more attractive, if your computer is going to play a major role in your workflow, you should just get a PC. In our opinion, thanks to speech recognition and a few other professional utilities, that are only available on PCs, Macs have at least temporarily lost the computer race.

Some folks report success running Dragon  on Windows inside a parallels virtual machine on their Mac. (Probably an x86 Mac)

 

That's an option, if your friend does not object to running Russian software,  Since parallels, although currently owned by an  American vulture capital company, is developed in Russia to the best of my knowledge.

 

Quite apart from the current Russia/Ukraine situation,  years ago I decided to quit using Parallels  because there were far too many reports of Russian software companies'  vulnerability with the Russian  malware mafia.  Doesn't even require the company to be complicit, individuals can be coerced or co-opted.
