Thanks, Lunis, for making this post, following our most recent communication. Let me add that even the commands themselves will not resemble any previous KnowBrainer implementation, and also not resemble the commands structure available in Advanced Scripting, which is one of the key features of the new design. A simple example should demonstrate this.

In KnowBrainer 2023, you will be able to define commands like this:

( Turn | Switch ) [ The ] ( Computer | Laptop ) ( On | Off )

Which, in a single command, equates to:

Turn The Computer On
Turn Computer On
Switch The Laptop On
Switch Laptop Off
...

And so on, and so forth, thus basically replicating the flexibility that comes with the so-called Natural Language commands which are embedded into Dragon, by combining multiple variations of saying the same thing in a single command, and if you look at them in the Command Browser, you will get the idea.

The rules are quite simple: words in brackets are optional, words in parentheses are alternatives, separated by the pipe symbol. The example above may or may not be really practical, as it is just meant to demonstrate the possibilities.

In addition to that, you will be able to use the <dictation> variable more than once in a command, and not just at the end of the command, but anywhere inside it.

So I would consider that making a difference, among a whole lot of new features, as well as the entire design.

Looking forward to people joining as testers. Lunis will give you all the details, or put you in touch with me.
