Windows is my thing, but...

Anybody else experiencing screen tearing in Windows 10 or 11?

At the moment, one suspect is Microsoft's Magnifier, since erasing the artifacts and temporarily stopping it from happening is done with the same keystroke/wheel combination that zooms out the view. I've done all the usual troubleshooting, plus upgraded the video card and the motherboard, plus fresh installations, video configurations, and all that.

I've noticed more than usual shabby programming, recently. Took a look at Windows 11 (where the problem still exists) and was impressed by, for example... Searched for a setting, followed the link to it, and the 2 related settings were right there. But (now you know where they are) when you browse to the page they were on when found by searching, they are not there! And there's more.

So I'm wondering if Windows is breaking up badly, like it used to.
