Please point me to the best installation instructions for Vocola 2.

Looking at Quintijn's installation page...

https://qh.antenna.nl/unimacro/installation/installationstableversionpython2.html

I noticed "installingpackagesviapip.pdf" is missing?

ALSO...

Does this installation need improvement?

 -- natlinkmain starting...
--- natlinkstartup starting...
Vocola version 2.8.6 starting...
natlinkmain started from C:\Natlink\Natlink\MacroSystem\core:
  NatLink version: 4.2
  DNS version: 15
  Python version: 27
  Windows Version: 10
Vocola enabled, user directory: D:\speech\Vocola\commands

Thanks.

Thanks. Be there soon.

Everybody probably knows that (vcredist_x86.exe, Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable Setup) is a prerequisite.

Extraneous...

NVMe drives rock! I have a motherboard with 3 slots. OINK! One slot with an add-in card works, if you have no need for speed outside of Windows. Samsung's best NVMe drives are superfast.

Your write up for the installation is good, IMO. Thanks.
Seems I had better luck installing Natlink to the default folder... C:\NatLink.
Using Macrium Reflect to make copies of Windows makes this sort of stuff relatively easy
and risk-free.

The rest is not a complaint or a request for help, it's just installation information, FWIW.

This might be a common error...

This is the command prompt stuff...
