I have a minor Natlink problem. I had to move and rename some folders on my computer, including the folders that contain Natlink and Vocola. I was able to run the Natlink configuration GUI and correct most of the references, but I'm getting a bunch of Natlink error messages whenever I start Dragon. Interestingly, Vocola is still working just fine. Because I am only using Vocola currently, this is not a big problem, but it would be nice to figure out how to fix the error. Any suggestions will be welcomed. Here are the messages: Error loading _natlink_save_audio from C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_natlink_save_audio.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\matt\NatLink\Natlink\MacroSystem\core\natlinkmain.py", line 331, in loadFile imp.load_module(modName,fndFile,fndName,fndDesc) File "C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_natlink_save_audio.py", line 37, in <module> import _dragonfly_local as local ImportError: No module named _dragonfly_local Error loading _text_utils from C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_text_utils.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\matt\NatLink\Natlink\MacroSystem\core\natlinkmain.py", line 331, in loadFile imp.load_module(modName,fndFile,fndName,fndDesc) File "C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_text_utils.py", line 9, in <module> import _dragonfly_local as local ImportError: No module named _dragonfly_local Error loading _emacs from C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_emacs.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\matt\NatLink\Natlink\MacroSystem\core\natlinkmain.py", line 331, in loadFile imp.load_module(modName,fndFile,fndName,fndDesc) File "C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_emacs.py", line 4, in <module> from dragonfly import ( ImportError: No module named dragonfly Error loading _repeat from C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_repeat.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\matt\NatLink\Natlink\MacroSystem\core\natlinkmain.py", line 331, in loadFile imp.load_module(modName,fndFile,fndName,fndDesc) File "C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_repeat.py", line 22, in <module> from concurrent import futures ImportError: No module named concurrent Error loading _safety from C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_safety.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\matt\NatLink\Natlink\MacroSystem\core\natlinkmain.py", line 331, in loadFile imp.load_module(modName,fndFile,fndName,fndDesc) File "C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_safety.py", line 7, in <module> from dragonfly import (Function, Grammar, MappingRule) ImportError: No module named dragonfly Error loading _webdriver_utils from C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_webdriver_utils.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\matt\NatLink\Natlink\MacroSystem\core\natlinkmain.py", line 331, in loadFile imp.load_module(modName,fndFile,fndName,fndDesc) File "C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_webdriver_utils.py", line 8, in <module> import semantic_locators ImportError: No module named semantic_locators Error loading _linux_utils from C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_linux_utils.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\matt\NatLink\Natlink\MacroSystem\core\natlinkmain.py", line 331, in loadFile imp.load_module(modName,fndFile,fndName,fndDesc) File "C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_linux_utils.py", line 10, in <module> from dragonfly import ( ImportError: No module named dragonfly Error loading _dragonfly_utils from C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_dragonfly_utils.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "C:\Users\matt\NatLink\Natlink\MacroSystem\core\natlinkmain.py", line 331, in loadFile imp.load_module(modName,fndFile,fndName,fndDesc) File "C:\Users\matt\Documents\Natlink\_dragonfly_utils.py", line 25, in <module> from dragonfly import ( ImportError: No module named dragonfly

Matt's post triggered a question for me How much is Vocola {dependent on/independent of} NatLink?. Undoubtedly a "stupid user Ag" question. I have placed it in a separate thread to avoid mixing its answer with the issue Matt asks about in this thread. ------------------------- DPG15.6 (also DPI 15.3) + KB, Sennheiser MB Pro 1 UC ML, BTD 800 dongle, Windows 10 Pro, MS Surface Book 3, Intel Core i7-1065G7 CPU @ 1.3/1.5GHz (4 cores, 8 logical, GPU=NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 with Max-Q Design. |

Good news! I uninstalled and reinstalled Natlink and fiddled with the configuration options and now the error messages are gone. Computers are strange sometimes.

Correction. Error messages are gone, unless I try to enable Unimacro, and then they return. Not critical for me, so I'll just be sure not enable Unimacro and hope the next version of Natlink fixes this. |
