I use DPI 15.6 to directly enter text into a quick reply at http://www.knowbrainer.com/forums/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=12&threadid=34886

The entered text now extends off the screen to the right, and I cannot find any way to scroll to the right within it. Some of the other messages in the thread also have text that vanishes off to the right. I am using Microsoft edge at 90% magnification. To read all of some of the messages I had to go down to something like 67% magnification. I'm 78 years old and have difficulty reading really really tiny text.

Whatever you insert a large picture or a huge hyperlink, it will extend the forum Window so that you either have to make your browser larger or scroll. Unfortunately, the overpriced idiots who designed this forum have since gone out of business so there will never be an appropriate horizontal slide and we are stuck. It is never too large for us because we have 3 32 inch monitors but we would love to fix this. Unfortunately we can't do much about it but when possible, we edit those posts to make them smaller.

Having just googled this problem it looks like it might not be too difficult to resolve. If you were willing to share the HTML source code (no user data) I could probably test a solution here off-line.

The problem might be in this line:

<table border="0" class="MessageTable" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">

or (more probably) in this one:

<td class="MessageTable_RightCell" width="99%" valign="top">

end might be as simple as:

<table border="0" class="MessageTable" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" overflow="auto">

or (more probably) in this one:

<td class="MessageTable_RightCell" width="99%" valign="top" overflow="auto">

but would probably need a bit more effort.

Without digging into the entire code, I suspect that these lines are duplicated for each page which has a table of message replies.

In your example with the long link your best strategy for reading is to select the text and copy it, then paste it into the quick reply box at the bottom of the page where most lines should wrap properly. Or paste it in any other editor. You will lose some formatting though.

Best way to copy the text is to drag the mouse (drag = holding left button while moving) along the left edge of the text, highlighting paragraphs as you go. Go to top left of message body just above the text and say "mouse mark" then move the mouse to the bottom left just below the text and say "mouse drag" and then "press control C" to copy it.

For reading in place try saying "press right arrow" repeatedly. To get back, say "press left arrow" repeatedly. It works in Edge, anyway.
