Hello there, just restored my profile after disastrous effects of "accuracy tuning", only to find that my two main custom commands no longer work. The computer just pings. Anyone have any idea what has happened? Script remains the same of course. Very simple, here's one: Sub Main SendKeys "%t" Wait 1 SendKeys "^{Down} End Sub
Thanks.

There could be several reasons for this, subtle command file/user profile damage. Conflict with an (already deleted) command etc.
In my experience it's best to re-create the command and make it a little bit "different".
Since you used Advanced Scripting before, in this case I recommend DVC. Just double-click the existing <mousegrid> command in your Dragon Command Browser, click Create New and use this DVC script:
SendKeys "{Alt+t}" Wait 1000 SendKeys "{Ctrl+Down}"
Depending on the kind of application you are using this voice command in you may need to substitute SendKeys with SendSystemKeys (note that the Wait are milliseconds).
First give the command the same name you had before. If that does not work, give it a (slightly) different name.
If that doesn't work either, then it might be time to create a new Dragon user profile. ------------------------- Turbocharge your Dragon productivity with 40+ Power Addons |

Adrian,
NEVER optimize a DPI 15.61 user profile which is 1 of the 28 pictorially detailed sandtrap fixes, in our KnowBrainer Dragon Installation/Training Guide. Unfortunately, numerous default settings appear to be created by people who don't use Dragon. ------------------------- Change "No" to "Know" w/KnowBrainer 2022 |

On a few occasions, I've had problems with Dragon not recognizing certain commands (whether Advanced Scripting or Vocola commands). Usually, restarting Dragon cures the problem. Sometimes, I need to restart the computer. I don't think that redoing the commands as DVC commands will solve the problem.
I would delete the commands, restart Dragon, and add the commands back in, writing them from scratch. |
