If I upgrade to DMO , can I transfer all my saved templates, or do I have to recreate them?

thanks

Can you explain what you mean by "saved templates". In other words, are these Microsoft Word templates or Dragon Text & Graphics commands.

Templates would include all the saved Dragon text and graphics commands.

you could try copy and paste Text-and-Graphics commands but your result will probably be unsatisfactory.

Is there a way , all my old commands can be moved over to the cloud version in one file?

You can export from your Full dragon client and import via the Nuance Management center need to work with your Dragon Admin!

...but you probably won't get 100% of your "templates" across.

DMO only recently got the ability to use formatted AutoTexts and even now different colors or hyperlinks are not possible.

So probably it will be best to check each template separately.

Mav....how do you use formatted text in DMO? I use both DMO and DMPE and have yet fully transitioned to DMO. If I could use the WIN key in step by step commands and formatted text in Auto-text I could probably make the switch.

I'm not sure when formatted auto texts will be available outside of our "European bubble", but for us, Dragon Medical One 2023.2 (released 19. April 2023) is the first one being able to insert formatted auto texts.

You still can't enter formatted auto texts in the client, but formatted auto texts entered via  the Nuance Management Center are supposed to work (but the formatting options are somewhat limited).

Unfortunately, DMO step-by-step commands do not accept {Win} Key combinations. You are limited to {Ctrl}, {Alt} and {Shift}

I dont know why they don't let you use the WIN key but having formatted text would be great.

The reason why neither DMO, DMPE 4.3.1 or any Dragon utility will not allow you to use the {Win} key, in step-by-step commands, is because you have to press the keys in order to record them. Just try pressing the {Win} Key and see what happens. That's why it cannot be used. However, if DMO permitted Advanced-Scripting commands, it would be doable
