Nuance removed the Dragon Recorder utility from the app store because they want you to lease its replacement; Dragon Anywhere, which requires a monthly payment. If you have a major need for this utility, it's worth getting. Just click the Dragon Anywhere link in your Dragon options Commands tab. However, if you cannot justify the price, go with 1 of the free utilities.

To Lunis' point, it is easy to use your phone as a voice input to Dragon using an app on the phone and some knowledge. I've tried several briefly and maybe look at WO Mic as that one seemed to be easy to use (and the Bluetooth connection worked well for me). There are others that permit all kinds of computer vocal effects (for karaoke or whatever) which are fun and may allow some audio quality optimization. None (that I know of) work remotely over the internet so if I'm in range of the computer I am dictating into, I use a bluetooth headset instead of my phone. Curious to know what others have tried.

What I really really want is for the RDP app on my phone to support using the phone mic (or bluetooth connected headset) as a Remote Audio recording device on the remote desktop!

RecUp has been my solution for batch transcription (not realtime ).  Works with dropbox.
