Hi guys,
What version(s) of Microsoft Office work best with DPI 15.61?
My access expired, and I need to buy Microsoft Office Professional (or the apps for download).
I'm also wondering if any of the third-party discount sellers are truly legit, or if we have to buy straight from Microsoft? (If you search for "buy Microsoft Office Professional" you will see several digital download discount sellers that claim to be genuine Microsoft products.)
The price from Microsoft is roughly $440 to own Microsoft Office Pro 2019, or $8.25 per month for the comparable Microsoft 365 (which monthly will take nearly 4.5 years to reach $440).
Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

We find that Microsoft 365 (Office 2019) and Office 2016 work equally well but the Jumping Page issue in Outlook messages and Microsoft Word documents, that exceed a page, are an irritant. Even browsers suffer from this problem but it looks like Nuance is going to make us wait for the Dragon 16 release before fixing it. ------------------------- Change "No" to "Know" w/KnowBrainer 2020 |

Thank you Lunis.
Considering I'm going to need MS office on more than one machine, it seems the subscription is definitely the best deal. (And attic guy might need MS office to get a job!)
Plus, with Microsoft buying Nuance… it's kind of like doing business with our parent company, or one that may own a critical resource that many of us rely on.

I've used the Microsoft 365 subscription (or whatever) with Access included for many years and am totally happy with it. You get all the best apps and can run on 5 computers (I have a couple of desktops and a laptop). It's a steal of a deal, IMHO. And since you have a company, you can write off the price to bring it even lower.

Quick question… I am upgrading to latest Office (Microsoft 365) and they offer a "default" version, or I can specifically choose 64-bit, or 32-bit.
Do DPI 15.6, KnowBrainer, and SpeechStart+ work with both versions, or is one better?
Just FYI, I'm running Windows 10 64-bit.
Thank you very much. -------------------------

KnowBrainer 2017, SpeechStart+ and DragonCapture are tied to Dragon which is a 32-bit application.
Every third-party Dragon utility should work equally well in the Microsoft 365 64-bit and 32-bit versions. We are running both on separate computers. ------------------------- Change "No" to "Know" w/KnowBrainer 2020 |
