I had DNS 15 running on a W7 laptop. I upgraded to W10 and didn't have to activate. But, then I started seeing how I could upgrade using that installation. First, I moved it to a more powerful laptop, I had to activate, then I moved it to a very fast desktop, and now I can't activate, number of activations exceeded. I did some googling and found you could possibly uninstall, but I can't do that since I just moved the hard drive each time. Can you ask Nuance to increase the activations for your serial? Any other suggestions? PS, what drove this upgrade frenzy was I discovered a massive increase in accuracy by upgrading to a more powerful laptop. I think by CPU benchmark went up 30%, and DNS was so much better.

The only person who can call Nuance (800) 654-1187 to rollback an activation is the owner, you

BTW, I see my question was ambiguous. What I should have written was can a person ask Nuance, meaning can Nuance be asked. Not can someone at KB ask for me. I apologize for the ambiguity. I am a little rattled to have lost my my most effective tool.

You can still use Dragon 5 times in trial mode. You can also extend your time by leaving Dragon open, your microphone turned off and your computer asleep/hibernated. This should get you through until Monday. Nuance support is usually amenable about rolling back one activation.

Thank you Lunis. Nuance customer support was very friendly, and I am back in business dictating this response. As always, I greatly appreciate the help you provide through this forum.
