I have purchased a Sennheiser MB pro 1 UC/ML based on recommendations on this site and am really impressed with its accuracy.

There is a problem though, whenever I place the headset on the stand (and its connected up and charging) and I then remove it and then try to dictate, it's as if DPI (15.61) loses its connection and does not respond to any wake commands, nor does it seem to hear sound from the microphone when I've turned it on via a mouse click. This happens every time I place it on the stand.

Couple of things I've tried to try and remedy this;

1. Gone into dictation sources and selected it again.

2. Reloaded my profile.

3. Moved the USB dongle from a shared powered USB hub and connected it directly to my surface laptop.

The only thing that seems to work is if I remove the USB dongle and then reinsert it (at which point the headset states that it has reconnected).

Obviously, not an ideal solution - any thoughts on what might be causing this and how I remedy it?
