The last few weeks the data would transfer but sometimes would act like it continuously transferred (blue light on cradle keep flashing as if still transferring data).  Today it will not transfer at all.  I searched the forum but couldn't find any info on this topic.  Thank you for any helpful solutions. I'm thinking I will need to purchase a new cradle.  I have an Olympus DS 5000 and cradle - it's cradle is a smidge smaller to where the DS 7000 will not slide into it.

I've tried disconnecting both cables, blowing the dust out of all areas of the cradle and DS 7000, removed the DS 7000 battery for 5 or 10 seconds, and checked the connections from the cradle to the back of the tower and electrical strip.

You can bypass the DS-7000 USB cradle. Your recorder will even charge off from a USB port. We have one remaining discontinued DS-7000 USB cradle left in our inventory. If you decide to purchase a cradle, just let us know and we will substitute the DS-9500 with a DS-7000 cradle.
