I do have DP 15.3 on my computer but am wondering if there is an update I should know about? Or do I even need to update at all? Plus, there is the problem of Microsoft completely revamping Windows into Windows 11, and how many people are going to be able to afford new computers? My local computer shop has stated that is going to be standard if one months Windows 11, a completely new machine. Of course, Microsoft has stated they will support Windows 10 for at least another four years, maybe. What a quandary they put us in!?

How do I change my password?

Try clicking Check for Updates on the DragonBar Help Menu. The latest release is Ver. 15.61. Nuance likes to track everything so they ask you for address information and require your serial number. Unfortunately there is only a 50% chance of obtaining the download and you only get 3 tries or… You can optionally grab our Ver. 15.61 which is a full non-expiring download w/Installation/User Guide (including details on fixing 26 sandtraps) and other perks. Note that because of the complexity involved, we are charging a $20 service fee

Nuance doesn't make a dime on these types of updates. Considering the cost involved, you can bet your bottom dollar that Nuance only releases critical updates. This update includes Microsoft 365 compatibility (think Office 2019) and finally replaced their dated SAX scripting engine with WinWrap Basic, like what we use KnowBrainer 2017. If you create multistep Advanced-Scripting commands, they will now work much faster.

No one can guarantee Windows 11 compatibility but Microsoft made a big effort to be backwards compatible with Windows 10 programs. Dragon 14 on up should work. Obviously Ver. 16 will be Windows 11 compatible for the Microsoft December takeover but a little birdie told us that the Microsoft purchase may fall through or be delayed. We have no more information other than this is just a rumor
