We have a single user that users Dragon Natural Speaking v13 on a Windows 7 machine. Recently their hard drive started to fill up and upon investigation, the users C:\ProgramData\Nuance\NaturalSpeaking13\dataarchive folder is 50GB. Its full of files that started out around 100MB and the files continue to grow in size all the way up to 500GB. The file format is <KEY STRING>_ES_English_BestMatch_V_Southern_USA Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? |

In DNS 13, go to Tools - Options - Data, and uncheck "Data Collection", then press "Delete Data".

I am a computer tech, and one of the users I support is using Dragon version 15.x, and has this exact problem. However, the solutions here (specifically the: Go to Tools - Options - Data, and uncheck "Data Collection", then press "Delete Data" solution does not work. I don't know if that's because this is version 15.x (and that solution was for version 13.x), or if there is some other reason why this solution doesn't work here. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks in advance! |

Welcome (See Mission Statement)
You can still change your setting and then manually delete the contents of the %LOCALAPPDATA%\Nuance\NS15\Users\[your username]dataarchive folder. ------------------------- Forum Mission Statement |
