For some reason my wake-up command started having a ten second delay after I say the words "Wake Up" I have tried to train the words Wake Up but that didn't help. This is really annoying does anyone know how I can fix it

The fact that the wake-up command works means that training is a waste of time. Our best guess is that Dragon's buffer fills up when you place the Dragon microphone in the Asleep state. When you use sleep mode, Dragon is still listening for wake-up or listen to me. Unfortunately, anything else Dragon hears will be stored in the buffer. We offer the following recommendations:

1. Wait 10 seconds
2. Only say Go To Sleep for brief breaks. Use Microphone Off for longer breaks.
3. Work in a quieter environment
4. Purchase a more noise filtering USB Microphone

Our favorite solution is #2 but having said that, we use a TableMike which offers very little noise filtering and we can leave our microphone in the Asleep state for hours. If you work in a relatively quiet environment, Dragon may be hearing some form of lite interference that should be sorted out and silenced. Even if your interference is mild, it will lower your accuracy and more noticeably, lower Dragon's reaction speed.

I only get the delay when knowbrainer commands are on. I didn't have the delay before I updated the knowbrainer commands. I don't think it is background noise because I'm the only one in the room when I use Dragon NaturallySpeaking. I am using a SpeechWare TwistMike Microphone so I don't think it's the microphone.

While we are at a loss as to what is causing this problem, we have heard of one other instance which was remedied by creating a new user profile.

I'm having the same problem with mine, it's also coming to a stop and then when the buffer catches up it will spit out everything that always trying to get done. I've also lost the ability and switching tabs on Microsoft Edge i.e. 1st tab, 3rd tab, etc. I think all this happened maybe because of the Windows update. Anyone else having the same problem?

We thought you asked this question a few days ago. 1st Tab (retired) is now Window 1 through Window 9.
