Hi everyone,

Having some trouble creating a script to answer a phone call in Microsoft Teams and hoping someone can help me out.

The keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+Shift+s. I've tried the following scripts but no luck so far:

DVC: SendKeys "{Ctrl+Shift+s}"

Advanced scripting: SendKeys "+^s"

I've tried SendSystemKeys as well - doesn't seem to work.

Any help appreciated.

Hi!

I've just tried creating a step-by-step command and it worked:

1. Step: Microphone Off

2. Step: Keystrokes/Press Ctrl + Shift + S

I'm not sure how this way of sending keystrokes differs from SendKeys or SendSystemKeys, but since there are various ways of synthesizing keystrokes in Windows, the Step-by-step command seems to have picked the correct (i.e. working) way.

hth,

mav

Thanks mav. It will be my first time creating a step-by-step command. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Can someone break this down for beginners? I have both Knowbrainer Professional and Dragon Professional and I know how to create basic Step-by-Step commands in Dragon. But I don't know what the step would be for "Microphone off." I would also like to know how to create this in Knowbrainer because I want to learn how to create commands there. Thank you

Microphone on and off are in the drop-down list:

Our preference would be to verbally create Advanced-Scripting commands in Dragon via VerbalBasic II; rather than creating step-by-step commands. Before we released VerbalBasic II, step-by-step commands were probably easier to create. VerbalBasic II is now easier and much faster. For the most part, you say what you see (SWYS). You will find details in the KnowBrainer Manual on page 36. The following VB script turns the microphone off:

Sub Main
SendKeys "SetMicrophone 0"
End Sub

The following script turns the microphone on:

Sub Main
SendKeys "SetMicrophone 1"
End Sub
