I need to buy a new computer because of some hardware issues. I'm currently running Windows 10 on a HP laptop with Intel core i7 (8th generation) and 16gb of RAM. Dragon runs okay on my current system, but it does crash fairly frequently and also has some specific performance issues (e.g. it runs extremely slowly whenever dealing with a window that has long numbers, for instance in Windows Explorer if there are files with names that are 5+ digits).
My question is, how much of a performance improvement would I be likely to see in Dragon if I upgrade to i8 or i9 processors? Or to 32gb or 64gb of RAM? Or to a desktop instead of a laptop?
And how well does Dragon function on Windows 11? |
