I've had an intermittent problem with DNI professional individual starting around 14 or 15. For no apparent reason Dragon stops recognizing dictation (it will recognize commands) in fields where it previously recognized dictation. Instead, I get the "please say that again" message. For example, I use Dragon with Quicken. In making entries into Quicken, there are several fields such as the date field, the payee field, etc. All of a sudden, when trying to dictate the number into the field for the amount of the entry amount of the deposit or payment) I get that message. Certain other fields in other programs start having that problem as well. For instance, in Timeslips, a time billing program, the field where you type in the clients name to bill to that client has also suddenly started to exhibit that behavior.(the The problem is solved when I reinstall Dragon that is suboptimal as that can be time consuming and disruptive.

Has happened with Windows 7 professional, Windows 10 professional, 32 GB of RAM, 500 GB hard drive, i5 processor, currently using Dragon Professional Individual 15.60.

 



Any ideas?
