When I try to start KnowBrainer2020 after installation over KB2017 (which appears to go smoothly) I get a small process stub named KBPro.exe *32 of size around 3,944 K but no flash start-up screen and no KnowBrainer. This happens whether I start DMPE first (which I've had to do for a long time as KB2017 lost its ability to start DMPE itself) or try to have KB2020 start itself and DMPE. I've tried the usual uninstall-reinstall cycles with no change in behavior. I upgraded to 2020 thinking the issues with 2017 would not be present, but no luck so far. There is no request for the license I purchased although one time there was a KB process in Task Manager that seemed to reference a license check. Running Windows 7 (blame my employer!).
