I have now been using DMPE 4.3 for a couple of weeks. It has a SIGNIFICANT latency problem. When I dictate my office notes at night, I dictate in a very quiet environment without any background noise. I have the Data setting for "Save recorded dictation with document" set to Never. It is obviously some type of buffering issue as occurs most commonly, though not exclusively, after microphone is in the Go To Sleep mode. However, this happens reproducibly even if only in that mode for 15-30 seconds (like when I am proofreading a paragraph), or will occur if I try not putting into Go To Sleep mode for that 15-30 seconds while proofreading but not talking. It will also occur after selecting a misrecognition then dictating over this. I even tried making a command to turn the microphone off for 5 seconds then putting it back on to flush the buffer without success. Seems like the microphone needs to be off a minute or more to work properly again. This is extremely disruptive to workflow. The problem is not my computer which is more than up to the task. Any advise how to remedy or workaround would be most appreciated. Thank you.
