I have a client I've been supporting for a long time with Dragon. Adobe Page Down goes so slow. I did a couple macros for 5 pages and 10 pages, but they're slow too and I've tried recording the macro as well as using SendKeys. . . any suggestions?

                    Welcome (See Mission Statement)

KnowBrainer 2017 includes the following script which you can copy into Dragon. We don't have Adobe Acrobat but when we tested this command in Nitro PDF, it very fast. When we say Page Down 15, we are instantly on page 16. This should work the same way in Adobe Acrobat but keep in mind that DPI 15.3 uses the outdated SAX Basic scripting engine which should have been retired in 2006. This might explain your problem but it might work considerably better in DPI 15.6. You will need to contact us for additional download information because we are not allowed to post this information here. See following command which will allow you to page down from 1 to 100 (assuming you have defined the list, which is not included in Dragon):

Name: Page Down <1to100>

Sub Main
SendKeys "{PgDn "+ListVar1+"}" End Sub

If we indeed are talking about Acrobat Reader (you are only mentioning "Adobe"), and if your client just uses it to open PDF files then he may want to consider setting Chrome or Edge as default program for PDF files. That should give a much faster response I think.
