Has anybody developed a speech-activated analog phone that uses (or can use) Dragon NaturallySpeaking as its front end? The basic voice commands I need are:
- Dial-by-name
- Dial-by-number
- Flash, Redial, volume up/down, Hold, Mute
- Incoming call anouncement-by-name (or number, if incoming number is not in address book)
The Saje Tech Communicator (Arialphone) provides the functions that I'm looking for, but it's speech recognition is only 80% accurate at best. Saje tells me that it is not cost effective for them to upgrade their recognition engine.

The phone I'm looking for is along the lines of the following patent:

It seems as though this functionality is being incorporated into more and more cellular phones these days (for example, Windows Mobile Voice Command), but is not nearly as well developed for the home user on a conventional analog phone.
My client is a disabled woman who is recovering from a stroke. In her application, she has legacy gear that requires the presence of an analog phone line (security system, phone-controlled paging system ELAN AV/EC).

The previous generation of voice-activated Environmental Control Units (medical gear) provide only a 20-30 word vocabulary that has to be trained to a particular user. These units come with a built-in analog phone, but do not allow functions such as dial-by-name or caller-name-announce. An example:
