Ok, we got the message. We recognize that many of you are used to those fancy online Websites that offer real-time credit card processing, instant product downloads, real time order status tracking and all sorts of other things that cost a fortune to build, rollout, and maintain. Well, we had a large wish list of our own for a shopping cart too, so we put all of this together and handed it off to our new Web Developers at Orcutt Labs to see what they could come up with. The end result is a feature- rich shopping cart that meets the shopping and ordering needs of our customers, while giving us the back- end functionality that we were desperately seeking.

New Features

The new cart is designed to layout all of our products through a logical array of product categories and sub categories. Where we were limited significantly before with our old cart, we can now establish a hierarchy of products and services on the new shopping cart that is easy to navigate. Another set of critical features sought by our customers was online card processing (so you know immediately if your credit card order can be accepted) and status tracking. We're happy to say that these features made it into the cart, as well as instantly downloadable products. It is also now much easier for the KnowBrainer staff to update our cart without the assistance of a Web Master/Developer, so we can roll out new products more quickly.

Security

As nice as all of the new features are, they'd be useless if they weren't secure and this was, ultimately, our top priority. To secure your transactions on the new shopping cart, your whole user session is SSL protected; this ensures that your information (such as credit card data) is encrypted between your browser and our server. As we process your order online, we use a secured, encrypted connection to our card processor for instant payment processing. This emulates the online payment services you see at some of the Web's largest retailers.
