WSR in Win7-64 will not start, the attached message box comes up claiming a change in language was made. No such change was made, nor have I found a way to undo a change that was never made. This appeared all of a sudden one day, after WSR had been working for months. Not that I used WSR much, could live without it, but trying it out occasionally.

G.J.,
Have you tried Googling this question? I did and came up with these few suggestions. Try them and see if they help you. If not, just Google your question and keep persevering. According to Windows Speech Recognition Control Panel, my W7-64 Home Premium computer does not have a SAPI or a speech recognition engine present. I don't know where they are hiding, since WSR did formerly work on this computer. Apparently, the problem has no solution, search of the Internet shows many reported such problems, but no solution short of a disk reformat. So I will have to stick with DNS. Don't mind that, but Lindsay's PCByVoice Speech Start for Dragon won't work if it can not find a SAPI or a speech recognition engine |
