HI All, I know this is a loaded question but having another hard drive issue that I fixed last night but dont know if I can hold out for ivy bridge and might have to get a dell at costco to last me 3 months or a sysmax (really nice systems from TigerDirect but have seen these up close and personal) and looking at 128g ssd for mostly office pro, win 7 pro, dragon 11 medical and my emr. This is primarliy what I use and work off a server. My total "local" usage on my 500g "local" WD drive is 37.7g's total!!! This is an pent d xp and know office 7 etc take up more room etc. Any suggestions??? Any brands that people like?? Thanks, Larry |

Supposedly, the Ivy Bridge was pre-released on April 9 for a handful of computer companies like M-Tech and they are probably the only computer manufacturer in the world that actually understands true NaturallySpeaking requirements. We don't get paid to recommend them but M-Tech is our 1st recommendation.
We can only give your opinion but we don't think that the average user should have a solid-state drive under 120 Gb because if possible, you really don't want to fill more than 1\2 of that drive. Once you've loaded Microsoft Office, NaturallySpeaking and a few personal utilities, you can easily close in on that 60 Gb limit. Our preference is for dual hard drives with an SSD handling the applications and your operating system and a 2nd 500 Mb to 1.5 Tb drive for file storage but you might find that overkill. -------------------------
