I may have made a mistake upgrading to DNS 11 on my 2730p hp laptop wiht a core 2 duo l9400 processor. Would it be better to roll back to DNS 10 or to just run DNS 11 in bestmatch III mode?

Also how much of a jump do you guys think moving to an x220 with an i7 2620m processor would be? Sadly the quad core mobile processors all come in laptops to large and heavy for my lifestyle.

You may have to go back to Ver. 10. A Ver. 11 Best Match III profile would be faster but it is still going to search a single core twice as opposed to Best Match IV which searches 2 cores one-time. The Ver. 10 Best Match III profile searches a single core one-time and the application is a bit leaner.

Having said all that, it wouldn't take too long to create Best Match III Ver. 11 profile for test purposes because you can always skip general training. Of course the ideal solution would be to contact
M-Tech for one of their fancy new I 7 Ivy Bridge systems.
