Have a Latitude E6410 laptop (approx. 1 or 2 old) running Windows XP Professional, Office 2007, and DNS 11.5 Premium. Losing changes making to Word documents when using Dragon Naturally Speaking 11.5 Premium. Have lost valuable data and stopped using DNS for now. Is using the "track changes" feature in Word 2007. Any ideas on what could be causing the Word 2007 data loss issue?

Welcome to the World’s Most Popular Speech Recognition Forum
We experienced this problem occasionally in Word 2003 with NaturallySpeaking 10. We are not certain that we have an actual answer but we believe that the problem may be connected to the fact that NaturallySpeaking grabs the space to the right of the last word which may contain different formatting that could be applied to the previous paragraph. Are you experiencing this problem when creating a new document or when working with templates or existing documents? Do you have a lot of styles or specialized formatting in your documents? Microsoft Word has so much overhead that we have seen the formatting fall apart; especially in earlier versions. We distinctively remember having to reformat a number of our help files but this occurred when we were not running NaturallySpeaking. A temporary solution, if you don't need a lot of specialized formatting, would be to select the entire document and add formatting when you have finished dictating. NaturallySpeaking also includes commands to help facilitate this process. -------------------------
