To evaluate the performance of CPUs, hardware websites use a range of benchmarks.  Sometimes these are single popular software programs, sometimes they are synthetic benchmarks which may attempt to be general in nature, or focus on one area, such as video processing, file compression or gaming.  As speech recognition is not a mainstream activity, this is rarely mentioned.

My question is therefore, which of the common benchmarks used by hardware websites such as Tom's Hardware would most closely match the demands placed on a CPU by Dragon 11 running BestMatch IV?

Thanks,

Ben

Great question, I would love to see what the answer will be. Sorry, but I cannot answer myself
