eMicrophones receives several calls a month from users of the Sennheiser Headset (now NEW and IMPROVED). They say the headset is uncomfortable. It turns out they did not notice the diagram of how to wear it. They put it on over the top of the head instead of behind the head. We now have a movie on the Sennheiser Headset page that shows how to wear the headset properly. Although the Sennheiser Headset works optimally for most people, in some situations it has an echo effect. This is most noticeable for people who dictate near walls or windows. It is very easy to remove this effect can not change any of the other qualities of the microphone. See the second movie on the page above for how to easily remove the echo effect. Microphones supplied prior to October 1, 2006 already had this modification. Martin ------------------------- Martin Markoe - BANNED USER: This user has been banned from these forums |

Absolutely two-thumbs-up, Martin. I don't want to make you blush, but I would like to recommend that you write a book on How to Be a Top E-service Provider. Not only would the world of e-commerce be better for it, but it would also be a bestseller, and, who knows, you might even just retire from the microphone business. On second thought, maybe we would be better off if you forgot the book...

Daniel, Thank you for the kind thoughts. Write a book? Great idea. Will keep you and everyone interested posted in a couple of months. As for retirement, not yet. I still use the technology to get most of my work done every day. Currently I am using Microsoft Vista Speech about 50% of the time. The computer I am using to dictate on it now has not even been trained and seems to be as accurate as dragging (Dragon). I would just like to reiterate a few things here. First of all, I think most of us love the productivity, but like me still feel a certain magic as the words appear on screen. As I have said many times over the last nine years selling microphones on the Internet, there is not one microphone right for everyone, but there is a microphone right for you. Babinski, > How about a quick video showing the proper position for the: Great idea. Will try to do shoot the movies Monday. We used a Digital Camera with an MPEG option. Will probably purchase a digital video camera for better sound. Thanks for the ideas. Marty ------------------------- Martin Markoe - BANNED USER: This user has been banned from these forums |
